Decathlon Sporting Club was established in 1997 by Elie and Nina Sfeir as a result of years of experience in the Lebanese and regional sports scene. The name of the club pays homage to its founder being the current record holder in the Asian Decathlon games. Over the years, Decathlon has catered to more than 18,000 members in a variety of sports and activities. The club is renowned for its hardcore sports orientation and its ability to evolve in terms of both technique and equipment. Decathlon is also a member of five different sports federations that include Ballroom Dancing, Basketball, Swimming, Taekwondo and Aikido in addition to its affiliation with the international Fitness Company LesMills. The club underwent its latest renovation to include one of the largest fitness halls and gyms in Lebanon and has added a new line of 2016 gym equipment. In 2005, Decathlon Mountain Club was inaugurated in Feytroun. The 7000m2 spread became the permanent home to Decathlon’s famous summer program DYD
